Short Description Developing advanced modern software for processing of geodata is a quite challenging task, as the personal demands of geoscientists change as fast as the amount of geodata and the technical possibilities of computer hardware.
We try to satisfy at least our own demands, which means, adjust our software to the requirements of the actual projects of our group. In order to be flexible concerning new hard- as well as software, we use the standard Java language, in the hope, not to bet on the wrong horse.
The themes realized so far are: - Gravity raw data processing, anomaly calculation and topographic correction (DbGrav)
- Interpretation of gridded maps using different curvature attribures (Curvature)
- Two-dimensional gravity modeling using the talwani method (Applet)
